International Micronutrient Malnutrition Prevention and Control Program
CDC's IMMPaCt program aids countries in building national capacity to eliminate micronutrient deficiencies. Support includes funding and technical expertise for surveillance systems to monitor the impact of interventions.

LEAN Works! Leading Employees to Activity and NutritionCDC's LEAN Works!
This site identifies science-based interventions that work to prevent and control obesity and provides the tools that employers need to take action. It includes a variety of resources to employers including an obesity cost-calculator where employers can input employee demographic data to estimate the total costs associated with obesity and determine annual obesity-related medical costs for their companies.

CDC, Nutrition and Physical Activity
The Nutrition and Physical Activity Program to Prevent Obesity and Other Chronic Diseases is designed to help states prevent obesity and other chronic diseases by addressing two closely related factors — poor nutrition and inadequate physical activity. The program supports states with developing and implementing science-based nutrition and physical activity interventions.

PEP: A Personal Energy Plan
CDC, Nutrition and Physical Activity
The Personal Energy Plan or PEP is a 12-week self-directed, worksite program to promote healthy eating and moderate physical activity. The program materials include workbooks for healthy eating and physical activity targeting employees based on their readiness to change. PEP was developed by CDC's Nutrition and Physical Activity Communications (NuPAC) Team.

Youth Media Campaign (VERB)
The U. S. Department of Health and Human Services' Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Youth Media Campaign, VERB focuses on getting youth excited about increasing physical activity in their lives, while helping parents, educators, and youth leaders see the importance of physical activity to the overall health of tweens.

WISEWOMAN LogoWISEWOMAN
CDC's WISEWOMAN program provides low-income, under insured and uninsured women aged 40–64 years with chronic disease risk factor screening, lifestyle intervention, and referral services in an effort to prevent cardiovascular disease.

Interactive Worksheets (PDF-701k)
The four interactive worksheets of varying complexity show fruits and vegetables used in international cuisine. Users are given clues pertaining to their use in different countries and asked to identify them.

Adult Recipe Cards (PDF-3.1Mb)
A set of 20 recipes provides adults many tasty ways that they can prepare fruits and vegetables from around the world.

Kid Recipe Cards (PDF-3.74Mb)
Recipe cards for kids provide easy, tasty ways to prepare and serve the fruits and vegetables from around the world that the children learn about. There are 10 recipes included in this collection.
