We have a number of ways that we can assist you:

  • Learn about our Archival Holdings
    Our archival holdings are comprised of Federal records that date from the mid-1800s to the late 1900s received from over 100 Federal agencies and courts.

  • Learn about our Federal Records Centers
    We maintain non-current records from Federal agencies and courts and provide temporary storage of retired Federal records.

  • Learn about Records Management
    We help Federal officials manage information by offering technical assistance and training, and setting records retention and disposal guidelines .

Regional Archives

Our Regional Archives have both a Microfilm Research Room and an Archival Research Room. We have extensive microfilm holdings for genealogy research and general historical interest.

Records Management Program

Our Records Management staff provides technical assistance to Federal Government agencies on disaster recovery, inventorying, retention schedules, and much more. We also present seminars and workshops across the region.

Federal Records Centers

Our facilities store and service records for more than 100 Federal agencies, including the courts. We offer "Pick-up and Delivery" and other special services, including tailored workshops.
