SOLAR PARTNERS I, LLC
The award is phase or unit II of the larger project that will yield up to 392 gross MW solar project on about 3500 acres of federal land managed by the US Department of the interior's Bureau of management in the Mojave desert in southeastern California is expected to be completed in 2013. It will nearly double the amount of solar thermal electricity generated in the U.S.

Ivanpah #2 overall tower structure has topped out and SRSG weld out commenced. The steam turbine generator was received and set on its foundation. The generator step up and unit auxiliary transformers were set and dressed out. The station batteries were installed. The auxiliary boiler erection commenced. The air cooled condenser lower structural steel framing is complete. Solar field installation continued, with over 69% of the pylons and 6% of the heliostats installed. |
