If you are seeking a dentist:

CDC is not a clinical facility. If you need dental care, we suggest the following options:

  • The Health Resources and Services Administration supports a network of "safety net" clinics for people who qualify for reduced-cost care, and many have a dental clinic (phone toll-free 1-888-275-4772).

  • Most dental schools* have a clinic, staffed by the professors and students, where care is provided based on ability to pay.

  • Your state dental organization* may be able to refer you to dentists in your community who provide care for a reduced rate.

  • The National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research has more information at Finding Dental Care.

If you are a health care provider:

If you are a health care provider seeking assistance for oral care diagnoses or referrals, please contact your state oral health program.*

If you are a researcher:

We regret that we are unable to provide individualized help to students working on research projects.

If you are interested in our Dental Public Health Residency Program:
