Health Care Maps—Cardio Specialty Physicians

Counties with the highest number were scattered around the country in both metropolitan and rural areas with concentrations in Florida and the Northeast Coastal region. About 63% of all counties in the United States did not have a cardiovascular disease specialist. The frequency distribution indicates that for the majority of counties, the number of cardiovascular physicians per 100,000 population was between 0 and 20.
