FEMA Administrator and CDC Director to Brief News Media on Formaldehyde Testing Plan

The Washington, D.C., briefing will follow a CDC-led news briefing in New Orleans, La., and will be available via satellite downlink.

WASHINGTON – The administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), R. David Paulison, and the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Dr. Julie Gerberding, will brief the news media Thursday at FEMA Headquarters in Washington, D.C. The purpose is to discuss the plan to test air quality in travel trailers and mobile homes in the Gulf.
