The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) cares for more than 270 million acres of public lands. In Arizona the numbers exceed 12 million. Many of these lands are open to exploration and we invite you to consider these lands your largest classroom.
Several areas around the state offer programs to teach yourself, your children, or your students about the many different BLM programs. You can watch wildlife thrive along 40 miles of the upper San Pedro River in the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area. Sign up for an interpretative tour of Betty's Kitchen Watchable Wildlife and Interpretive Area and receive a teacher's classroom guide which describes the desert environment. Or visit Dankworth Village and learn about the lives of the Mogollon people. Choose from the list below the opportunity that best suits your interests.
