Train-the-trainer program checklist

Before the training

checkbox Promote your BodyWorks train-the-trainer session and begin to recruit potential trainers.
checkbox Check out the trainer resources including recruitment and promotion materials.
checkbox Audio/Visual needs: laptop for BodyWorks presentation, TV/DVD player to play Let's Shop, Cook, and Eat Together DVD
checkbox Email reminder to participants two days before training
checkbox Order toolkits.
checkbox Print Train-the-Trainer & Parent and Caregiver training manuals and make PowerPoint CDs
checkbox Order food and beverages (healthy breakfast, afternoon snack, water, coffee, and tea)
checkbox Create nametags and tent cards
checkbox Provide paper and pens for participants
checkbox Provide flip board/chart for writing

The day of training

checkbox Provide participants with the BodyWorks website (http://www.womenshealth.gov/bodyworks) and point them to:
  • Recruitment materials
  • Toolkit ordering instructions
  • Listserv instructions
  • BodyWorks contact information
checkbox Ask participants to fill out kit cards. Collect and send back to:
