Regional Meeting Dates Set for 2012
The dates are set for our four regional meetings coming up in the fall. The Midwest Regional will be held in St. Paul MN on September 27th and 28th. The Northeast Regional will be held in Washington, DC on October 25th and 26th. The Southern Regional will be in Greenville, SC on November 1st and 2nd. The Western Regional will be held in Salt Lake City, UT on November 8th and 9th. NAPHSIS Draft Strategic Plan 2013-2016

NAPHSIS 2011 Annual Report Released

2011 Model Law Revision Homepage
NAPHSIS has added a homepage for materials related to the ongoing efforts to revise the Model State Vital Statistics Act and Regulations. On this page can be found background information and downloadable files, including the current draft revised Model Law, a Comments Form, and PowerPoint presentations delivered in the National Webinars occurring in January of 2011. Research Review Process for Access to NCHS Data
Access to, and use of, national vital records-based data sets from the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) requires the approval of NAPHSIS. The NAPHSIS review process is conducted prior to the NCHS review and includes both federal and non-federal requests for restricted data files. This page of our Website contains information on the review process, criteria, and evaluation outcomes for requests to use NCHS vital statistics data.
