What are the priorities of the Center for Tobacco Products?

The Center's priorities are to

  • prevent youth from using tobacco
  • help adults who use tobacco to quit
  • provide the public with accurate information on the contents of tobacco and the consequences of tobacco use 
  • use regulatory tools, including tobacco product standards, to reduce the public health burden of tobacco in the United States
