New Random Samplings post provides info on income statistics from today's Income, Poverty & Health Insurance Coverage in the United States: 2011 report.

The U.S. Census Bureau announced today that in 2011, median household income declined, the poverty rate was not statistically different from the previous year and the percentage of people without health insurance coverage decreased.

The Census Bureau's Mark Wallace discussed the 2012 Economic Census on WWL-TV in New Orleans this morning. Watch the video here:
