Doing Business with DEA:

The Drug Enforcement Administration acquires the products and services required to support its mission through the Office of Acquisition & Relocation Management.

DEA conducts the majority of its procurements as full and open competitive or small and small disadvantaged business set-aside, including 8(a)'s. This office supports acquisitions at the simplified acquisition threshold of $3,000-$150,000, along with GSA and other GWAC purchases and all types of larger acquisitions over $150,000 to the multi-million dollar level.

The FA Small Business Hotline email box is the general procurement information collection point for the Drug Enforcement Administration's Office of Small Business. The DEA Small Business Office does not process tips related to crimes or investigations. To submit these ‘tips’ by email, please go to Submit a Tip. Small Businesses may submit capabilities statements or marketing literature to the DEA Small Business E-Mailbox at dea.small.business.hotline@usdoj.gov. To ensure your information arrives intact, please submit all materials as attachments and limit attachments to 5MB or less per email. DEA systems may prevent hyperlinks in emails and attachments from accessing commercial websites therefore submitters should ensure their materials do not rely solely on hyperlinks to communicate their message.

Caution: Please do not submit proposals or responses to specific procurement actions to this address. When responding to a synopsis, request for proposal, and other action; you must respond in accordance with the instructions of those advertisements to the named point of contact. Failure to adhere to those instructions may render the submittal as unresponsive.

The following documents related to DEA acquisitions policy are available for download. Some of these are required forms for doing business with DEA:

  • Contractors supporting DEA may be subject to Contractor Personnel Reporting Requirements (CPRR). If applicable, the contractor must submit quarterly CPRR reports verifying all employees assigned to perform under the contract. Contractor must use the CPRR Excel Spreadsheet Template per the instructions in the DEA CPRR provision.
