- U.S. veterans discussed matters with Library speaker Marvin Kalb, renowned reporter, journalist and author of Haunting Legacy: Vietnam and the American Presidency from Ford to Obama.   Kalb, moderator of the highly acclaimed public television and radio series, The Kalb Report, has a distinguished 30-year broadcast career, having served as chief diplomatic correspondent for CBS News and NBC News, and as moderator of Meet the Press.

ANN ARBOR --  The film was shown to a packed-house of Ann Arborites, among them Carl Smith, faculty advisor to the University of Michigan Men's Glee Club, who talked afterwards about its use of historic U of M Glee Club music with writer, Buddy Moorehouse (right).

Ford Journalism Prize for Distinguished Reporting on National Defense.
