The National Health Interview Survey (NHIS) Data Users Workshop August 9, 2012

The National Health Interview Survey (NHIS) Data Users Workshop will be held on AUGUST 9, 2012 at the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS). NCHS is located in Hyattsville, Maryland (a suburb of Washington, DC, readily accessible by Metro). This all-day workshop is free and open to everyone. It will run from 9:00am to 4:00pm. We recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes early to allow time to go through NCHS security and get settled. Material is targeted to both beginning and intermediate users of NHIS data.

Attendees at NCHS’ 2012 National Conference on Health Statistics on August 6-8, 2012 in downtown Washington, DC may also want to attend the NHIS Data Users Workshop in suburban Washington, DC on August 9. Registration is required, separate, and free for the conference and the workshop.

Ample time will be available for interacting with the presenters and other NHIS experts from the NCHS staff. Note that this is not a hands-on computer workshop.
