What is the purpose of the Injury Center’s blog?

The purpose of this blog is to foster public discussion about injury and violence prevention and response and gain perspectives of those we serve. We want to engage you – our partners, colleagues and customers – in our discussions and exchange ideas with you.

What will the director be talking about?

The Injury Center director and others will post entries about injury and violence prevention and response-related topics. The focus will be on Injury Center priorities, science, and research as well as partnerships.

What kind of comments are accepted?

We expect participants to show respect and consideration to the authors and others using the blog. All comments will be reviewed before posting. We will not post comments that contain vulgar language or offensive terms that target specific groups. We will not knowingly post comments that infringe on copyrights, are spam, are clearly off topic, or that promote services or products. We will not accept funding solicitations through this blog. Links to external sites will be deactivated. Comments that make unsupported accusations will also not be posted.

How often will the blog entries and comments be posted?

New blog entries are posted twice per month and your related comments will post in a timely manner Monday-Friday during normal business hours.
