NCCS and colleagues urge medicare payment reforms to encourage cancer care planning and coordination
NCCS was joined by the Lance Armstrong Foundation, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and Susan G. Komen for the Cure Advocacy Alliance in a letter urging the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to establish a system for making Medicare payments for cancer care planning and coordination services.

A new study published in the journal Nature finds there are four main types of breast cancer tumors. The study, which is part of the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Cancer Genome Atlas project, yielded important information about the genetic and epigenetic abnormalities that cause breast cancer as well as significant data to support breast cancer therapy development.
