Sunday, May 14, is Mother’s Day and also is the beginning of Women’s Health Week, a national observance started by HHS’ Office on Women’s Health. The goal of National Women's Health Week is to encourage women to take simple steps for a longer, healthier, and happier life. To contribute to this effort, AHRQ is devoting this edition of Healthcare 411 to issues related to women’s health.
