Other Non-IAE Systems Managed by OAS

The Office of Acquisition Systems (OAS), which manages IAE, also manages the following non-IAE systems, which are part of the IAE umbrella of services:

The Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) is an online (www.cfda.gov), mandatory, governmentwide compendium of federal executive branch programs, projects, services, and activities that provide assistance or benefits to citizens.  It contains both financial and non-financial assistance programs administered by the federal government.

The Acquisition Career Management Information System (ACMIS) is a government-wide system developed under the oversight of the Federal Acquisition Institute (FAI) which tracks acquisition workforce training and education. The information collected can help managers:

  • Make informed budgeting, staffing, and training decisions;
  • Monitor the availability of staff warrants and specific skill sets; and
  • Respond to information requests by Congress and other parties.
