American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials
AASHTO is the organization which maintains the "Green Book" for design of roads and highways and has begun to address accessibility of pedestrian networks.

Community Transportation Association of America (CTAA)
CTAA is a trade association of providers of community transportation, including paratransit services for individuals with disabilities.

Easter Seals Project ACTION
Easter Seals Project ACTION promotes universal access to transportation for people with disabilities under federal law and beyond by partnering with transportation providers, the disability community and others through the provision of training, technical assistance, applied research, outreach and communication.

Federal Transit Administration
FTA regulates and enforces requirements of the ADA covering transportation facilities and systems. FTA maintains a technical assistance line on ADA questions at (888) 446-4511 (voice), (202) 366-0153 (TTY).

National Center for Accessible Transportation (NCAT)
The National Center for Accessible Transportation (NCAT) at Oregon State University conducts research on accessibility issues and developing practical, cost-effective improvements in transportation technologies, with the goal of making transportation more accessible for everyone.

Transportation Security Administration (TSA)
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA), the new entity within the Department of Transportation responsible for protecting the nation’s transit system, has issued guidance to air travelers, including those with disabilities, on new security screening procedures.
