Information is obtained about disability and health promotion programs largely within State Health Departments and Universities.

Methodology

Proposed HP2020 method – via online search, identify the number of States that have at least one health promotion program for people with disabilities located within a major state-involved entity, e.g., State Health Department or university, regardless of federal funding source.

Response rate and sample size

Proposed 2011 sample, 50 states and D.C. disability and health promotion programs; In 2010, all CDC, DH-funded programs were reviewed, 16 had health promotion programs for people with disabilities.
