Seeking Information
In the Matter of C.C. Brown Law Office

On June 12, 2012, federal law enforcement agencies executed search warrants in Utah at four locations associated with a business formerly operating under the name “C.C. Brown Law Office.” Searches were conducted at locations in Midvale, West Valley City, and Salt Lake City. The business has also used other names, including “Sentry Legal,” “WT Lee,” and “JL Martin.” The search warrant is sealed, and no criminal charges have been filed in connection with the investigation.

The FBI’s Salt Lake City office, IRS-Criminal Investigation, and Office of the Special Inspector General for the Troubled Asset Relief Program (SIGTARP) collaborated to establish this webpage as an online resource for customers who have been working with “C.C. Brown Law Office” on a mortgage modification.

Customers willing to provide further information about their efforts to secure a mortgage modification through C.C. Brown Law Office can fill out and submit an online questionnaire that will be forwarded to our Salt Lake City office. Please note that communications and information shared with C.C. Brown Law Office or its affiliates might be covered by an attorney-client privilege, but the online questionnaire does not seek to obtain any such potentially privileged information.

Here’s a sample of what you will be asked to submit using the online questionnaire form:

  • Your contact information including name, address, telephone numbers, and email address;
  • Co-borrower information;
  • Mortgage type, loan amount, and status of your current mortgage;
  • If available, copies of statements verifying payments for services;
  • Additional information as requested on electronic form.

It is preferred that concerned customers file their information electronically. However, customers who do not have access to a computer can obtain information about filling out a questionnaire by calling 1-877-236-8947 and/or sending contact information to:
