Description

This working session is being organized and hosted by NASA. The Federal Social Media Community of Practice invites practitioners from across government to:

  • Continue collaboration on shared solutions for our mission needs
  • Discuss the findings of the Social Media Performance Metrics Working Group
  • Learn how agencies like NASA and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) use social media to deliver critical mission impact
  • Meet colleagues from other areas of government to forge new partnerships

A special breakout session will be held for attendees from the Intelligence Community, led by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

What You'll Learn

This seminar will provide case studies from the Federal Social Media Performance Metrics Working Group, NASA, the Intelligence Community, and agencies across government.

Presenters will explain:

  • How to better measure and report social media performance and mission impact
  • How agencies are using social media to improve citizen services and realize cost savings
  • What emerging trends may affect our shared mission goals, and what solutions we can develop to meet them

Who Should Attend

This summit is open to all federal government employees whose work involves social media. Individual offices are encouraged to register no more than two participants (so that as many agencies as possible may be represented). When registration moves to a wait list, priority will be given to agencies not already represented among registrants.
