Youth Perspectives

Findings and recommendations contained in the publications in this section come from analyses of applicable laws, regulations, and policy guidance. Publications are set against a backdrop of personal and/or group experiences with a variety of barriers to full participation and highlight promising practices identified by youth and young adults with disabilities themselves. These invaluable perspectives come directly from a generation of people living with disabilities, many of whom have lived under the protection of federal laws enacted before they were born.
