The Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey was administered this year to over 266,00 full-time Federal employees between April and May 2011. This year 76% of NIGC employees participated in the survey. Of those employees, 96% of respondents identified themselves as willing to put in the extra effort to get a job done and 91% responded that they like the kind of work that they do. Eighty six percent thought supervisors support the need to balance work and other life issues.
The NIGC scored below the government average on work life issues with child care and elder care programs.
