An Indian tribe may enter into a management contract for the operation and management of its gaming activity subject to the approval of the NIGC Chairman. Unapproved management contracts are void. Class II management contracts may be approved pursuant to 25 U.S.C. § 2711 and Class III management contracts may be approved pursuant to 25 U.S.C. § 2710(d)(9).
