Introduction

Every taxpayer dollar spent on our economic recovery must be subject to unprecedented levels of transparency and accountability.

The President directed federal agencies to take critical steps for the Act’s implementation, issuing a detailed guidance memorandum (PDF).

Recovery Grant Recipient Reporting

April Recipient Reporting:

HHS Recovery Act recipients will be able to submit their April recipient reports to FederalReporting.gov from April 1 until midnight EST April 14, 2011.

Recipient Reporting Materials
HHS has prepared materials to assist HHS Recovery Act grantees as they report their progress to OMB and the public. You will find information about registration, report instructions, and supplemental guidance.

Registered Lobbyist Contacts Report

HHS officials are required to disclose all communications with federally registered lobbyists concerning Recovery Act policy or projects, except for communications that concern purely logistical questions or those that occur at widely attended gatherings.

Savings to States' Prescription Drug (Part D) Costs

HHS estimates that more than $4.4 Billion in fiscal relief to States was provided through application of the Recovery Act FMAP increase when calculating State Contributions for prescription drug costs for full-benefit, dual eligible individuals enrolled in Medicare Part D by the end of January, 2011.
