About this Center
The MBDA Business Center located in Seattle, Washington is operated by the Seattle Business Assistance Center. The center is part of a national network of funded centers located in major cities throughout the United States. The center works with minority business enterprises to generate increased financing and contract opportunities and to create and retain jobs.
The program’s objective is to provide ongoing, quality assistance to minority businesses with rapid growth potential, so that they can achieve greater participation in the development of the nation’s commerce.
MBDA Business Center Consultants offer professional expertise in all enterprise disciplines, including management, marketing, finance, accounting, and other business areas, and are available to counsel eligible minority businesses throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

Global Business Development | |
Services include identification of export markets, facilitation of global transactions, international trade missions and market analysis, and overseas market promotion assistance. |

Services include identification of domestic and global financing opportunities, equity financing, brokerage of financial transactions, identification and closure of merger and acquisition transactions. |

Staff Information
Victor Valdez, Project Director
Victor Valdez brings the MBDA Business Center experience in business, economic development, and international trade with a strong background on minority business issues. He previously served as the President & CEO of the Northwest Minority Business Council, growing the organization to its greatest achievements in its 30 year history. He was the Latin American Sales Manager, for Seattle based, Johnson International Company before joining the Council. Before coming to Seattle, he spent several years with the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as the Associate Director overseeing various chamber business development programs.
He earned his MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management, and received his Bachelors of Science in Marketing from Arizona State University.
