    2012 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) Kickoff — Thursday, October 4

    The CFC is the annual fundraising drive conducted by employees in the Federal workplace. This year’s theme is "Hope." Join us from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 pm. on the NIH Campus, in tents in front of Building 1. For more information, contact the NIH CFC.

    Disability Employment Awareness Month Interactive Exhibit — Thursday, October 4

    OEODM and the 3-Blind Mice (an Employee Resource Group) have partnered to present "The World through Our Eyes: A Journey Into Blindness and Vision Impairment" — a blind and low vision interactive exhibit. It will take place from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. in Wilson Hall (Bldg. 1.) Experience what it is like to see (or not see), methods of traveling, assistive technology, demonstrations of everyday living tools and the basic principle of Braille.     Foil the Flu — Influenza Vaccination Program

    The 2012-2013 schedule is now available on the Foil the Flu Web site. The location of this year's on-campus vaccination clinic is the Hatfield Clinical Research Center, Building 10, 7th Floor Atrium, East Side. (In the Hatfield CRC, take the central elevators adjacent to Admissions/Patient Travel to the 7th floor.) All Federal employees and contractors with a valid NIH identification badge will be provided the seasonal flu vaccine free of charge, while supplies last.
