The U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) relies on an objective and credible analysis underpinning for corporate decisions and program implementation. To support EERE decision-making, our Strategic Analysis team generates a variety of analysis tools and resources. We strive, as part of our transparent data initiatives, to increase the rigor, utility and accessibility of EERE data and analysis tools in order to leverage the information gathered through these efforts. In addition to creating our own products, we also identify, evaluate, and curate energy analysis assets from reliable sources throughout the energy analysis community.

On this website, energy analysts and policymakers can access energy analysis products, including published analyses, energy data and maps, and analysis tools from EERE and the broader energy analysis community. While the website provides links to handpicked and important energy analysis products, it is not a comprehensive source of such products.

For information about how energy analysis feeds planning, programming, and budgeting activities at EERE, see the About Energy Analysis page.
