First-Class Package Return is a smarter way for high volume shippers to quickly receive lightweight (under 1 lb) documents or merchandise returns. It’s also the best choice for companies who receive at least 10,000 lightweight returns per year per location.

Print Return Labels
USPS®’s innovative Merchant Returns label tool gives you several ways to create shipping labels for your customers. The barcoded label includes free tracking and has space to enter an order number or RMA number for internal purposes. With flexible printing options, you can…Include a pre-printed label with the merchandise order.

  • Include a pre-printed label with the merchandise order.
  • Integrate the USPS Returns™ tool so your customers can generate a return label right on your website.
  • Have your company's Call Center agents create a shipping label from the Returns tool and share it with the customer via email, fax, or mail.
  • Incorporate a link to the USPS Returns web site, so the customer can generate and print the label themselves.

First-Class Package Return™ Service uses Scan-Based Payment to streamline the payment process. We determine a uniform price through periodic sampling of packages returned. Your individual piece prices are calculated based on weight in ounces as shown in the First-Class Mail® package price list.

Commercial Base™ customers may include return parcels up to 13 oz for First-Class Package Return Service. Commercial Plus™ customers may include return parcels up to 16 oz for First-Class Package Return Service.

Companies may be eligible for Commercial Plus Price discounts if they meet the volume and label certification requirements. See Rules & Restrictions for eligibility requirements for Commercial Base and Commercial Plus Pricing.
