Postage Meters

Print postage easily.

Some mailers use metered postage because they believe it adds a more personal touch. A postage meter prints postage directly onto your mail (or onto a meter tape, which you apply to your mailpiece).

Postage meters can be used for:
All mail services except periodicals.

Permit & Annual Fee for Bulk Mailing
You must apply for a permit to use a meter for bulk mailings. Also, there are special markings required for bulk mailings that can be applied with your meter stamp. That saves you an extra step.

The annual mailing fee of $190 allows you to mail bulk mailings from one Post Office™ for one year. This fee is separate from application fees and postage.
