Stacy Farr

Stacy Farr, MPH, joined the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) as a Junior Service Fellow. She focuses on the national evaluation of the Children's Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act (CHIPRA) quality demonstration projects, which aim to improve the quality of healthcare for children by testing and evaluating the use of: core quality measures, health information technology, and provider-based delivery models. Additionally, Stacy is working on special insurance analyses of the National Healthcare Quality and Disparities Reports, which examine disparities and quality in healthcare by insurance status and race or ethnicity.

Stacy's earlier experience includes serving as a you treatment counselor, a pyschometrician and research coordinator for Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, and a research and policy analyst. Her research interests are in family health across the lifespan, chronic condition and mental health, patient outcomes, and quality of care. Stacy received her Masters of Public Health from the University of Kansas Medical School and her BS from Nebraska Wesleyan University. She is currently a PhD Candidate in health services research and policy at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
