Center for Delivery, Organization, and Markets (CDOM): Staff Biographies

Brent Sandmeyer

Brent Sandmeyer, MPH, is a Junior Service Fellow in the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality's (AHRQ's) Center for Delivery, Organization and Markets (CDOM). His projects focus on building the science of public reporting of health care quality measures in order to establish and spread best practices in the field. Public reporting has the potential to inform consumer decisions, drive improvement of health care quality, lower the overall cost of care, and reduce disparities in health care.

Brent previously worked on public reporting and quality measurement with the Oregon Healthcare Quality Corporation, an AHRQ Chartered Value Exchange. He also produced reports on Oregon's long term care and mental health workforce for the Northwest Health Foundation. Brent received his Master of Public Health in Management and Policy from Portland State University, and his B.A. in Psychology from New York University.
