In California

Taking a community approach, the Native American Health Center in Oakland focuses on prevention. A Circles of Care grantee from 1998 to 2001, the center developed a model program that addresses historical trauma.

In New Mexico

The San Felipe Pueblo maintains a traditional community. Learning to navigate between traditional and western cultures can be difficult for the pueblo’s young people.

In Arizona

The Pascua Yaqui Tribe used a Circles of Care grant to take a snapshot of what behavioral health services could help the tribe’s youth.
