Notification to Current & Former Camp Joslin Campers and Their Families
On September 13, 2012 Richard J. Keller was arraigned for receipt of child pornography. Dr. Keller had an association with Camp Joslin starting in the early 80’s after he completed his training as a pediatric endocrinologist. His association with the camp has continued off and on through this past summer; we have no information that any of the current charges are related to the camp or Keller’s association with it. Camp Joslin was owned and operated by the Joslin Diabetes Center until 2010 when it was purchased and is now operated by the Barton Center.
Dr. Keller’s worked both as a volunteer and a paid contributor at the camp; this position does not have any clinical appointment at Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston.
Anyone with information pertinent to the charges against Dr. Keller are asked to contact the US Attorney’s office at 617-748-3274.
