Title:	Strategies to Improve Collaboration Between State Oral Health Programs and Head Start State Collaboration Offices
Abstract:	This paper discusses how a partnership between state oral health programs (SOHPs) and Head Start state collaboration offices (HSSCOs) could improve communication and networking between local Head Start programs and others to enhance oral health services for pregnant women, infants, and children enrolled in Head Start and their families. It describes the Federal Head Start program, the roles of SOHPs and HSSCOs, outcomes of collaborations between SOHPs and HSSCOs to date, and recommended strategies for further collaboration. The paper includes references and a list of resources with contact information.
