Long Description

This presentation will address ways to gain a better understanding of our organizations, particularly with respect to what activities are consuming the dollars we spend and why those activities are being done. There is a technique that makes it possible to perform an activity-based analysis without the time and effort of a complete decomposition of the organization or department. Through predictive cost modeling, all of the products, services, activities, resources, and their relationships can be identified for the software development industry. This presentation will discuss organizations that are currently using active planning and estimating in their software product development efforts.
