As part of the America the Beautiful Quarters^® Program, the United States Mint is producing the America the Beautiful Quarters Circulating Coin Set to honor the Nation’s national parks and other national sites.

This set contains one each of the five circulating quality America the Beautiful Quarters minted at Philadelphia and one each of the five circulating quality America the Beautiful Quarters minted at Denver (a total of 10 coins per set). The packaging allows customers to easily open it if desired so the coins may be removed and placed into albums or other collecting tools.

The 2011 set features America the Beautiful Quarters honoring Gettysburg National Military Park in Pennsylvania; Glacier National Park in Montana; Olympic National Park in Washington; Vicksburg National Military Park in Mississippi; and Chickasaw National Recreation Area in Oklahoma.

The America the Beautiful Quarters Program features designs depicting national parks and other national sites. Each year five new national site designs are depicted on the reverse of the America the Beautiful Quarters. The United States Mint will issue these quarters in the order in which the honored sites were first established as national sites.

To ensure that all members of the public have fair and equal access to United States Mint products, any order placed prior to the official on-sale date and time of November 29, 2011, at 12:00 Noon (ET), shall not be deemed accepted by the United States Mint and will not be honored.
