Veterans Supportive Housing
The recent award of nearly a half million dollars means over 100 homeless veterans in South Dakota will receive housing vouchers and case management services.  The HUD-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH)  voucher program is a joint effort between HUD and the Veterans Administration to provide rental assistance for homeless veterans, case management and clinical services provided by the Veterans Affairs at local medical centers. Pennington County Housing, Meade County Housing and Sioux Falls Housing each received 35 HUD-VASH vouchers.  For information about these vouchers or to apply for assistance contact one of the Housing Authorities.
