Medicaid and Mental Health Center

The Health Services Division is a subunit of the APHSA, which is a bipartisan, professional, nonprofit organization of representatives of state Health and Human Service agencies (including the District of Columbia and the territories). The primary purposes of the HSD are: to serve as a focal point of communication between the states and the federal government, and to provide an information network among the states on issues pertinent to the intersection between Medicaid and low income health programs and human service programs. The HSD provides information to the Health and Human Service programs and permits the opportunity to share information among and between states. To view the HSD Resolution as approved by the APHSA Board as of December, 2010, is available at APHSA HSD Resolution. The National Workgroup on Integration
