Holmes, Beckman Appointed to the NAD Board

The National Association of the Deaf (NAD) Board of Directors is pleased to announce the selection of Tawny Holmes and Joshua Beckman as appointed Board members for the 2012-2014 term. Holmes has been appointed to serve as an advisor on education and early intervention issues while Beckman will represent deaf and hard of hearing youth on the NAD Board.

NAD Supports Forum on Disability Issues for U.S President Campaign

We Need Your Support to Ratify the CRPD!

[VIDEO] The National Association of the Deaf (“NAD”), calls on all deaf and hard of hearing people to contact and ask their Senators to support ratification of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities (“CRPD”). The treaty, while ratified in a number of international countries, has not been ratified in the United States.
