In developing your guidelines for public transport, most of your considerations appear to be aimed at mobility forms of disability. While this is important and appropriate, please bear in mind that there are at least three additional types of disability which are probably more common but less noticeable than mobility issues - especially among elderly persons. These are impaired vision, impaired hearing and impaired memory.
I can only speak for impaired hearing issues. In these cases the combination of clear and well enunciated verbal information combined with graphic or written information on a visible screen probably meets the needs of most hearing impaired.
I hope someone offers similar comments on other impairments which are too often overlooked in the rush to accommodate those with mobility impairments.
