CCDF Funding Allocations and Periods of Availability
Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) monies are made up of discretionary funds, mandatory funds and matching funds. Each type of fund is slightly different, and a description of some of the differences, as well as the period of time a state has to spend each kind of funds, is outlined here.
