Conference Grants

Review grant applications for high quality conferences/ scientific meetings relevant to NIDA's scientific and public health issues.
ZDA1-GXM-A Special Emphasis
Panel (SEP) for
Gerald McLaughlin, Ph.D.
Review grant applications to facilitate the entry of beginning investigators with brain imaging research relevant to drug abuse.
ZDA1-SXC-A Special Emphasis
Panel (SEP) for
Scott Chen, Ph.D.
Review grant applications to foster highly innovative or conceptually creative research related to drug abuse and addiction and how to prevent and treat them, and to support high-risk, potentially high-impact that is underrepresented or not included in NIDA's current portfolio.

*The standing review committees that reviewed the R mechanism, [NIDA/E (Treatment), NIDA/F (Health Services), and NIDA/L (Medication Development)], were dissolved in 2009, and NIDA/K (Training Committee) was dissolved in June, 2012, and most applications that would have been reviewed in these committees are now being reviewed in CSR.
