Art for Change 2013

Persad's largest and most successful fund raising event will be celebrating the 25th year of Art for AIDS, which has raised over $3.75 million dollars to support Persad's Free Care Fund; allowing us to offer quality services to all clients regardless of their ability to pay.

This year's Art for Change event will be held on Monday, May 13 at the August Wilson Center for African American Culture. Persad's signature event is both a verbal and silent auction featuring over 200 pieces of art from local, national and international artists including paintings, photography, sculpture, furniture and jewelry.

New this Year! Electronic bidding with hand-held devices allow you to monitor all of the silent auction pieces from the palm of your hand. Increase your bid with the tap of a finger as you stroll through the auction. Watch excitement build throughout the evening as we climb to meet our fundraising goal.

The Underwriters Circle Party, our VIP event, will be held on Thursday, April 11 at Jay Verno Studios on the South Side. join us for an evening of gourmet and artful fare provided by All in Good Taste Productions along with complimentary cocktails in an elegant atmosphere. Enjoy stylish and spacious surroundings while you preview some of the amazing works of art that will be auctioned off at our signature event in May. Following dinner, meet and mingle with the talented artists who have donated their works to make Art for Change such a big success. Dance the night away in Studio A with live music and lots of exciting festivities.
