Gen. James D. Thurman Participates in Republic of Korea Repatriation Ceremony

June 06, 2012 - Gen James D. Thurman, commanding general, United Nations Command, Combined Forces Command, and United States Forces Korea, joins Republic of Korea President Lee Myung-bak and ROK Minister of National Defense Kim Kwan-Jin to welcome home the remains of Korean Augmenties to the United States Army (KATUSA) soldiers killed during the Korean War. The remains were returned from North Korea and arrived at K-16 airbase near Seoul, South Korea, May 25.
