Williamson, Texas, has largest county 1st quarter 2012 over-the-year wage growth at 27.4%

Over the year, Williamson, Texas, had the largest percentage increase in average weekly wages in the first quarter of 2012, 27.4 percent. Gregg, Texas, had the biggest over-the-year percentage increase in employment, 6.0 percent in March 2012.

Multifactor productivity rose in 85% of detailed manufacturing industries studied in 2010

Multifactor productivity, output per unit of combined inputs, rose in 85 percent of the 86 detailed manufacturing industries in 2010, compared to 20 percent of the industries in 2009. Multifactor productivity increased in air transportation and line-haul railroads.
