SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS


Q: What do I need to view this site?

A: Your computer must meet the following requirements to successfully view this site:

  • Microsoft Windows 98(SE), 2000, XP, ME
  • Macintosh OSX
  • Internet Explorer 6.0+, or Firefox 2 or 3, or Safari 2, 3 or 4 (Mac)
  • Flash - A high speed internet connection and Flash 9.0.115 or higher
  • Windows Media - A high speed or Dial up internet connection, Windows Media Player 9 or Better or WMV Player for OSX
  • Cookies must be enabled for this site. For more information see How do I Enable Cookies?


Q: Where can I get free upgrades to meet this site's system requirements?

Q: How do I enable cookies?

A: Following are step-by-step instructions to enable the cookies in your browser.

Note that some firewalls and security tools also include cookie-blocking settings. We recommend you refer to your product manuals for instructions on how to disable this setting as it often resolves streaming issues.

MACINTOSH SAFARI:

  1. Choose Preferences from the Safari menu and click Security.
  2. Click Always for Accept Cookies
  3. Close the Security window to save and apply the changes.

INTERNET EXPLORER:

  1. Start Internet Explorer.
  2. Choose Tools > Internet Options.
  3. Click the Privacy tab to display the Privacy panel.
  4. Use the vertical slide bar to adjust your privacy settings to no higher than Medium High.
  5. Click the Advanced button.
  6. Verify that the Override Automatic Cookie Handling option is not checked.
    Note that if you prefer to use the Override Automatic Cookie Handling option, you must accept first-party cookies to enter the site. Though not required for entry, we strongly recommend also accepting third-party cookies for the best playback experience.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Click OK again.
  9. Close all open Internet Explorer browsers.
  10. Reopen the browser and return to the site.

FIREFOX 3.0:

  1. Start Firefox
  2. Choose Tools >Clear Private Data.
  3. Check the box marked 'Cookies'.
  4. Click 'Clear Private Data Now'.
  5. Close all open Firefox browsers.
  6. Reopen the browser and return to the site.


TECHNICAL SUPPORT

Q: I receive an error message when trying to view this site.

A: If you receive an error message from our site, visit our system requirements section for free upgrades and downloads, or for instructions on how to enable cookies.


Q: I can enter the site, but the videos do not play.

A: If you see a 'loading' message, black screen, or can only view advertisements, we recommend the following steps:

Disable ad-blocking settings in your personal firewall, browser, or ad-blocking software to determine if this allows the video to play.


Q: I can see the video, but I cannot hear audio.

A: Verify that your system volume and/or speakers are not muted or turned to a very low setting.

Verify that there are no other streaming applications running on your computer.

Verify that your system has the updated AC-3 (dolby digital) codec installed for broadcast-quality downloads.


Q: I can hear audio, but I cannot see the video.

A: Verify that there are no other streaming applications running on your computer.


Q: Video and/or audio quality is poor or out of sync.

A: For best performance, we recommend that you upgrade to the latest version of Macromedia Flash Player.


Q: I can see the advertisements, but not the videos.

A: Recommendations for fixing this issue are addressed in I can enter the site, but the videos do not play.
