AIDD is Now a Part of the Administration for Community Living (ACL)
On April 16, 2012, AIDD, the Administration on Aging, and the Office on Disability joined the newly created ACL.

ADD funded Access to Integrated Employment: National Data Collection on Day and Employment Services for Citizens with Developmental Disabilities. The project extends 17 years of research describing day and employment services for individuals with developmental disabilities.

makes sure that individuals with developmental disabilities and their families have access to community-based services and supports to promote opportunities for independence, productivity and inclusion through culturally competent programs.

The new National Autism Resource and Information Center will provide access to high-quality resources and information on community-based services and interventions for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families through a national dissemination network, regional events, training and technical assistance and an innovative web presence.
