Key Considerations

The choice you make about target populations will affect all aspects of your program planning.  It will affect which stakeholders need to be involved, what data are analyzed, the services that you include in the program, and the types of MLTSS contractors you seek.

An example of a broadly-targeted MLTSS program is Wisconsin Family Care, which enrolls adults of all ages, including those with physical, intellectual and age-related disability.
An example of a narrowly-targeted MLTSS program is Pennsylvania Adult Community Autism Program, which enrolls adults with autism in three counties.
